getting geological

for as long as i can remember, i have always had a weakness for fabulous handcrafted jewelry and fine gems.  [a champagne taste on a tap water budget, or so my dad says...]

there is just something fantastic about seeing carefully hand-wrapped jewels, delicately strung faceted beads, and a natural rainbow of colors - lovelovelove!  having a brother that is in the geology field has certainly helped me to appreciate not only the beauty of raw minerals and stones, but also their scientific and metaphysical characteristics.  [you should have been there when we visited the museum of natural history together!]  i await the day when he brings some of his field findings to me and i can create truly one-of-a-kind pieces for myself and others can enjoy.  <3

as of late, i have been creating semi-precious gemstone necklaces that can be layered, mixed, matched, and even wrapped to create bracelets.  please check out a few of my newest creations - made with love in the mountains of course!!  take advantage of my 10% sale going on too!
